ANNE CARTIER-BRESSON studied History and Archaeology at the Sorbonne in Paris. She graduated in the Science and Technique of Art Conservation and Restoration with a dissertation on restoration techniques for black and white photographs.
She teaches at various institutes, including the Institut National du Patrimoine (INP), where she is head of photography studies at the Department of Conservation.
She runs the Atelier de Restauration et de Conservation des Photographies in Paris (ARCP).
