Programme:

-    Practical research aspects in photographic archives
-    Shared projects of cooperation and cataloguing in Web interfaces.  
-    The use of common metadata formats (descriptive formats such as Dublin Core; technical and practical formats) and standards (ISBD(NBM), ISBD(ER), and ICCD Standard F)


ALBERTO GAMBARI is head of the Casa della Memoria in Rome and of the Rome Libraries System. He is the author of books on librarianship, together with Mauro Guerrini, President of the Italian Libraries Association, such as “Definire e catalogare le risorse elettroniche: un’introduzione a ISBD (ER), AACR2 e metadati” (Defining and Cataloguing Electronic Resources: An introduction to ISBD (ER), AACR” and metadata”), published by Bibliografica, Milan, 2003.
