Vittore Fossati
Born in 1954 in Alessandria, where he lives. Since the late 1980s he has been a member of that group of authors who saw in Luigi Ghirri a master and point of reference for updating the Italian photography culture, taking part in the most important collective exhibitions he has organised: Iconicittą (1979), Penisola (1983), Viaggio in Italia (1984), Esplorazioni sulla Via Emilia (1986).
For years he has devoted himself to landscape and architecture photography commissioned by public bodies and institutions, and today is one of the foremost representatives of those photographers who in Italy contribute to a reflection on the transformations of the territory and their representation.
