Biography
ELIO GRAZIOLI
This curator and modern art critic has organised exhibitions and writes for catalogues and magazines in the sector. He teaches history of contemporary and modern art at the European Institute of Design in Milan and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bergamo; together with visual communication at Bergamo University. Together with Marco Belpoliti he is director of the six-monthly monographic magazine “Riga” (Marcos y Marcos, Milan) for which he has edited volumes dedicated to Duchamp (n. 5, 1993), Giacometti (n. 11, 1996), Picasso (n. 12, 1996), Brancusi (n. 19, 2001) and Picabia (n. 22, 2003) – and was editor in chief of the contemporary art magazine “Ipso Facto” (RadiciNylon ed.,Bergamo – eleven editions published between 1998 and 2001). He edited the volume Arte e industria (Art and Industry), Marcos y Marcos, Milan 1996 and published the books Corpo e figura umana nella fotografia (The Body and the Human Figure in Photography) 1998, Arte e publicity (Art and Advertising) 2001 and La polvere nell’arte 2004.
