Hundreds of millions of individuals who lead an existence on the margins of the most basic human rights, situations that are hidden or often ignored, in worlds that are far enough away to be forgotten. These have always been the subject of Paolo Del Papa’s great reportages. In this new exhibition he presents them as “faces” that look for shreds of comfort in the midst of their existence; “faces” gazing symbolically upon a world of which they are not part.
