bruno-vagnini_arles “This is a project that began thirteen years ago and represents the evolution of shop window dummies, creatures with no apparent identity, created by man. They are increasingly perfect and life-like and often, disturbingly, appear outside their usual shop window settings, so that they appear more real than humans. These become the real mannequins, because they are similar in appearance and sometimes want to fulfil the same functions”
