Works by Noriaki Yokosuka, Nobuyoshi Araki, Pietro Mussini, Silvia Camporesi, a.n.Fabian
With the sun in one’s eyes, the glare is a deviance of the gaze that sees beyond the visible. Five artists, including international photographers like Nobuyoshi Araki, the Japanese master famous for his provocative images full of eroticism and Noriaki Yokosuka, the famous fashion photographer - use the female figure to develop different ways of looking and being looked at, different languages of art and photography. These photographs/images are flesh and blood stories of nature and artifice, the voices of gazes; crude and fantastic oxymorons that form a kaleidoscope of views of/from the female.
