Fotografia europea is a publicly commissioned project for European artists. During the first edition, 15 artists from eight European countries were invited to Reggio Emilia in 2005 and 2006. The project’s research theme was that of the city, its limits and boundaries. At the end of the Storie Urbane (Urban Stories) exhibition the works, which became the property of Reggio Emilia Council, were deposited at the Panizzi Library Photo Archive and can be seen on the library website.http://panizzi.comune.re.it/.
