What is photography at heart? A special object, an object like others, or a “gaze” – a different way of observing that is almost two centuries old and has changed everybody’s perception? Two different perspectives on these questions in a discussion with a modern theory (that of Ronchi) and a post-modern one (that of Codeluppi).
