ERIK MESSORI “THE SILENCES of CHERNOBYL”

This exhibition aims to remember and recount 20 years of a human technological disaster. It is a photographic journey that leads to a tragic, little known and almost forgotten reality. This reportage goes to the epicentre of the disaster and documents areas and places, together with the disaster’s sad legacy. The images transmit the anguish of a tragedy changing the lives of many people who live at the limits of human endurance. All this takes place in a context where sound is absent: I SILENZI di CHERNOBYL (THE SILENCES of CHERNOBYL).
