At the centre of these photographs are the human forms - sometimes in shadow, blurred and disturbed - and the night. The ones are a derivation of the other. The night is a moment of standstill in perception, in consciousness and an interruption in the flow of time. These fleeting forms could only have materialised at night, because this is the only time when our anxieties become stronger.
