YANOMAMI, LA DANSE DES IMAGES
curated by Luciana Pederzoli
promoted by: Associazione amici di pennino
The tribal people left on Gaia in the post-human age are the great corporeal memory of Humanity, the real “wise men” safeguarding biodiversity. Claudia Andujar’s photographs deliver the intimacy of the physical and spiritual being of the Yanomami Indios, they encapsulate the song of the bodies in the forest, in the rivers, in play and in the rituals of the “yano”, the common home.
“The Indio breathes and screams. Whole and alive. The painted body is a land of respect and fraternity. A ritual of love”.
