My passion for photography has grown in time, because through photography, I have increasingly discovered a new way of looking around myself. Every time I experience a particular feeling on seeing a scene, I strive to convey through my pictures the same emotions I felt when framing the subject. Thus, as I watched athletics, gymnastics and artistic performances, where the human being fuses the body and mind into a single endeavour to give his best, I felt a strong desire to capture within the picture the whole effort of “spirit and matter” exuded by the athletes during their various performances.
