I decided to present poppies because they are images that are slightly pandering, in the sense that they are pleasant to look at and people like them. In reality the subject lets me play with colour, with red and green or with red and blue, and my pleasure lies in observing and trying to preserve it at the moment the photograph is taken, so I can pass it on to the person who sees the image.
