The artist Maestri ‘removes’ some details from the scene, moving around the figure and looking at it from different ‘perspectives’. He captures its details, uncovering unimagined views, torsions and sinuous movements, ironically ‘lodged’ amongst feathers, high heels and crystal glasses.
The photography caresses the models, runs lightly over satin and is reflected in glass, in a tactile rhythm that leaves the role of narrator to the skin and opens the camera lens to new horizons.
