Rooms empty of bodies (perhaps) momentarily absent. Talking walls of rooms at rest, stalled, brushed by reflections or beams of light evoking expectations of contact or presence. Then, situations of “distance” – of the heart or of physical space – between men and women, between men and ever more beautiful mannequins. Small solitudes in which Varini, with his soft style, is able to eulogise the poetry of silence yet again.
