Spazio Gerra Live
1 - 3 May 2009, 19.00 - 24.00 - Spazio Gerra
Spazio Gerra Live
From 7.00 p.m
“Space” as a context, a place in which it is possible to meet, talk, read, understand a multitude of experiences which start with the reading by Roberto Alperoli (1st May) in which eternities become minimal, moving on to the musical conversation with Jean Baudrillard (2nd May), in an original production for Fotografia Europea starring Jean-Paul Curnier, Yves Robert and Stéfanus Vivens. Experiences which touch on the reading (3rd May) of the young writer from Reggio, Silvano Scaruffi, author of Lavoratori precari dal futuro which offers four original stories precarious employment, set in the near future with highly current repercussions. A copy of the book, including photography by Michele Venturi which narrates the guiding threads which link science fiction to the Reggio Emilia Apennines, will be offered to the evening's audience.
From 9.30 p.m
“Live” like music to listen to, interact with, environmental like the electronics of Ulrich Schnauss (30th April) which takes on a rare emotional power. To open, Jukka Reverberi from Giardini di Mirò, a mix of shoegaze reminiscence and new millennium electro. To follow, the sound flow to get lost in, hypnotised by Boduf Songs (1st May), supported by the American duo To Kill A Petty Bourgeoisie, author of electro pop with strong noise tinges. The same pop which inspires the electronics of Dorit Chrysler (2nd May), which lies half way between a sound track and a retro orchestral arrangement with the sound of his Theremin. Live like the music which talks of the Emilia scene and its tradition with a modern language, like in the four-handed project Fumana (3rd May) curated by musician Corrado Nuccini and photographer Matteo Serri. To accompany the embracing fog of Fumana, the abstract and minimal sound of Con_cetta, experimenter and ambient musician.
