Fotografia Europea opens in the presence of authorities and of the photographers involved in the project. The event concides with the opening of all venues. With the participation of the curators Elio Grazioli, Laura Serani, François Barré, Gabi Scardi, Madeleine Millot – Durrenberger and Marine Baudrillard.

 

Fotografia Europea Ragazzi. Group performance by Let’sDance

The opening of Fotografia Europea involves more than one hundred children from 6 to 13 years old, who take part in workshops and activities coordinated by artists, creating a link between the world of photography and young people. The group performance stages a path across the town, passing through the venues of Fotografia Europea 2009 dedicated to young people and their families: starting from Spazio Gerra that hosts the exhibiton/lab Fotografare il tempo. Il tempo della trasformazione e il tempo del corpo by Reggio Children, to Galleria Parmeggiani where atelier are led, to Piazza Fontanesi, where there is the Katy Couprie exhibition curated by the Cooperativa Giannino Stoppani.

Wearing the t-shirt of Fotografia europea 2009, the group realizes a choreography inspired to the idea of exchange, dialogue and encounter between young people and  contemporary photography.
