What comes after the digital photo: the bases of the work flow and post production
Discover the possibilities of image development and processing with Lightroom 2 in combination with Photoshop CS4 for advanced retouching. The seminar shows the various integration possibilities for an organised, efficient work flow. The various essential tools of the photography trade will be demonstrated, and some of the new features of Photoshop CS4 will be investigated, including the Adjustment Panel, the Mask Panel, content-aware image resizing and the depth of field extension.

Black and white digital printing: differences between traditional dark room and digital printing
Some printer manufacturers have developed “black-and-white-specific” ink technologies and print drivers. To learn how to use these to their best advantage, this seminar examines all the operations and creative variants of the analogue dark room to offer practical examples of the corresponding print driver settings. By analysing the parallelism between all traditional and digital steps, the participants will learn the techniques and terms used in the drivers more easily, in order to obtain the required results (seminar in cooperation with Epson).

But in contrast to yesterday, we photographers have to develop the "negatives" in a "light room" rather than a dark one, using conversion software. Adobe, Apple, Canon, DXO, Hasselblad, Nikon, Phase One, they all have their own software, and some are "universal". 6 MAY 2009 - FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY LABORATORY
Complete fashion photography laboratory, from the shoot to post production, to create a dedicated fashion editorial.
9.30 a.m.: The shoot for all participating photographers
Set up of a session with models and stylists and following photographic shoot. Each participant is accompanied in the choice of the correct positioning of lights and materials, the use of the lens and the flash, communication with the model and the final shot. Session supervised by Andrea Rossi, internationally renowned professional photographer (www.rossiandrea.com).
2.30 p.m.: Post-production.
An Adobe Certified Instructor will accompany the participations in managing and optimising their photographs using Photoshop CS4.
