STANDBY
Reggio Emilia, a place that has always been famous for its strength which lies in its courage, the wealth of its ideas, its great spirit of innovation, its open-minded way of reacting to historical events, learning and reinventing itself: how is it handling the challenges of our times? How is it dealing with the current global economic crisis? In Standby, images of the current economy, industry and local work situation are portrayed. Companies and people (management representatives, various experts, employees) portrayed in this exceptional moment which, at times also leads to an absence from work, and which in any case stimulates thought on the meaning of work itself. Portraits of work places searching for traces of the personal, of what links a person to the place they work in. Portraits of people in private. Portraits of free time.
