Amaranth

Collezione Maramotti
23 April - 15 May 2009

Collettiva studenti Facoltą di Fotografia Parsons School New York

curated by Michelle Bogre (Associate Professor Parsons School New York)
promoted by Collezione Maramotti in collaboration with Parsons The New School for Design di New York and Max Mara

There is a common element in the presented experimentations: the relationship between photography and time, photography as a means of expression which exists at the same time in the past, the present and the future. Just like the amaranth, the flower which, legend has it, never fades, the photos of thirty students selected for this exhibition open a debate on photography as an element of rupture of the temporal dimension which marks our experience, enriching and dilating it.
