On the occasion of the opening days of Fotografia Europea, from 6th to 8th May 2011, one day will be devoted to the market of limited edition, out-of-print, photography and artist books. The photography book has always been an important item in the work of every photographer. It is a fundamental tool of the author's expression and one of the key components of the history of photography; nowadays it is of great topical interest, particularly for young generations. Out-of-print books are in great demand by book lovers, specialists and young photographers. These are just some of the reasons why the photography book market in Reggio Emilia is such a popular event in the festival. This year, the second time ELLEFFE is being held, the Municipality of Reggio Emilia is making available an important area to specialist book sellers, located in the wonderful setting of the Cloisters of San Pietro, one of the festival's key venues.
