ANN-SOFI SIDÉN
1962, Stockholm; Based in Stockholm and New York. From 1986 to 1988 she studied at the Academy of Art, Berlin: from 1988 to 1992 at the Royal Academy of Art, Stockholm. During the following years she concentrated on films revolving around themes like the human psyche and the mythology of the "self". Several of her works also call into question concepts of control and observation and its antitheses.
