Thirty years following the death of the musician Ian Curtis, leader of the Joy Division, Fotografia Europea presents the national premiere of Unknown Pleasures. Star of the evening is Peter Hook, bass player of Joy Division and one of the founders of New Order. The show is backed by the projection of images on the musical history of Manchester and by the tribute of Italian artists. The concert is part of a wide-ranging focus dedicated to the British cultural scene, and creates a direct line with the exhibition Manchester: so much to answer for by photographer Kevin Cummins.
